Hampton Virginia Aquaplex Program Pool Party
  • Parties are three hours long with one hour in the party room and two hours in the pool of your choice.

    You will have a party host with you throughout your party time to make your experience as fun and hassle-free as possible.

    You may arrive up to 30 minutes early, free of charge, to set up. Early arrival upgrades are available for purchase.

    For young children or inexperienced swimmers, we recommend one of our Program Pool packages.

    The Program Pool is our shallower pool and is kept a bit warmer at 84F. It has stairs as well as a zero-entry ramp and an in-water bench.

    Your reservation would include access to our poolside bleachers and private access to four lanes, or half of the pool. This section of the pool reaches 3’6” to 4’ deep. Life jackets are provided. There is an open shower on the pool deck for anyone who would like to rinse off before/after being in the pool.

    Lifeguards and a party host are included in all pool package pricing. You have the option of free play, having the party host run pool games, or a mix of both. We provide pool toys and equipment.

  • SplashDown Park parties include three hours of admission to the Aquaplex’s SplashDown Park.

    You will have a party host with you throughout your party time to make your experience as fun and hassle-free as possible.

    You can arrive up to 30 minutes early, free of charge, to set up. Early arrival upgrades are available for purchase.

    SplashDown Park is an outdoor splash park with 26,000 square feet of fun featuring two 29-foot water slides, a lazy river, a spinning vortex, in-water basketball hoops, and a splash pad with various play features, including a rocket-themed playground set with a tipping bucket.

    Please note, this amenity is open seasonally WEATHER PERMITTING.

    SplashDown Park parties are held outdoors (not indoors in a room).

    Since SplashDown Park is outdoors, it will close for thunder and/or lightning until 30 minutes after the last sound of thunder. When available, parties will be relocated to the Program Pool where the party host can provide activities/games. If we are not able to relocate your party, you will have the option to reschedule. SplashDown Park will open for the season on Memorial Day weekend and close after Labor Day weekend.

    Disclaimer: A SplashDown Park Party is not a private reservation of the SplashDown Park, but guarantees admission even if we reach maximum capacity. Private rentals are only available outside of operating hours.

    Policies specific to the SplashDown Park:

    • Weather and Cancellations - if your party must be canceled due to poor weather or facility issues, we will check availability to relocate to an indoor pool, or otherwise rebook your event at a later date.

    Guest Count - SplashDown Park parties have a maximum of 30 total guests. The youth guest count for the party package you purchase is the number of guests who may use the waterpark features during your party. When supervising young children, chaperones may use the features for free - please see chaperone policy.

  • Most reservations will use our Multipurpose Room as the Party Room. This space can accommodate parties of up to approximately 60-70 guests. SplashDown Park parties have a maximum of 30 total guests.

  • Every guest that uses our facility, whether they swim or not, needs to have a waiver on file. This can be completed in person at the front desk or online at the top right of this website. Simply create a profile and you will be prompted to sign the waiver. You can add family members and sign their waivers right from your profile page.

  • Families may arrive up to 30 minutes before their scheduled party time to begin setting up the space with any decorations they choose to bring. Guests should not plan on arriving before the party start-time and may be asked to wait in the lobby.

  • Food is prepared by our on-site concessions, guaranteeing hot food will be served hot and cold food will stay cold. For meal packages which are included in the party packages, we offer pizza combos of your choice between pepperoni and cheese. Any other meal requests can be purchased at our concession stand.

    Outside food is not permitted, but we do allow families to bring their own birthday cakes, or cupcakes.

    Please Note: TAX IS NOT INCLUDED IN FOOD PRICING.

  • We provide utensils, plates, napkins, cups, and tablecloths.

    You may bring your own serve ware and decorations, however, we ask that you limit decorations to table-top and balloons only. Decorations do not adhere to the walls well and the ceilings are too high to hang decorations from.

    All decorations are subject to approval by the Hampton Aquaplex staff.

  • You are welcome to bring a small speaker if you would like to have music during your party. Explicit music is not permitted. Please keep the volume at a reasonable level so as to not disturb other patrons using our facility.

  • For children 7 years and older, we require 1 adult chaperone for every 8 children. Chaperones are not required to swim but may swim for free. Any additional adults that would like to swim may purchase a day pass at the front desk.

    For children 6 years old and younger, the parent or other adult bringing them may not drop them off and must stay for the entire party. We require each child 6 years old and younger to have an adult chaperone accompany them in the pool, even if they are wearing a life jacket. Chaperones may swim for free.

  • Since SplashDown Park is outdoors, it will close for thunder and/or lightning until 30 minutes after the last sound of thunder. When available, parties will be relocated to the Program Pool where the party host can provide activities/games. If we are not able to relocate your party, you will have the option to reschedule.

HOW TO BOOK YOUR PARTY

STEP 1) Complete the booking request form below.

STEP 2) If you do not have one yet, create a Hampton Virginia Aquaplex account by clicking HERE.

STEP 3) Wait for a member of our events team to contact you, confirm the details of your party, and send you an invoice.

STEP 4) The invoice can be viewed from your profile page. Pay $100 towards the balance as your $100 non-refundable deposit to lock in your reservation. This non-refundable deposit is due at time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid a week before the event. If payments are not received within those time frames you will be informed that your party will be canceled.
